Meet Our Visionary Leaders

Ceylan Duru Can

Co-Founder

Born in Istanbul in 1975, Ceylan Duru Can completed her high school education at St. George’s School Montreux in Switzerland. She completed her higher education at Babson College in Boston, USA, in the Department of Entrepreneurship and Marketing. After graduating in 1997, she worked in a tourism firm in New York, and then for 2 years at Raymond James & Associates in Washington D.C. as an investment advisor for high-income portfolios. She returned to Turkey in 2004 and began working as a co-manager at Duru Turizm.

Gonca Duru

Co-Founder

Born in Istanbul in 1979, Gonca Duru completed her high school education at Notre Dame de Sion French High School and graduated from the Business Administration Department of Koç University. After working in a consultancy firm for a while, she began working as a co-manager at Duru Turizm in 2003. In addition to the traditional tourism approach, she has signed off on successful works in the field of events and corporate travel organizations.

60 Years of Sylvan Experience Meets DDLC

Our journey, which began with Sylvan Learning, having a 60-year history and global recognition in 750 locations, transformed into DDLC Academy in 2023. Dedicated to encouraging a love of learning and discovery, we aim to build a solid foundation of success in every child's life.
